Garden Providence Ltd. was founded in 2020 by CEO Yulai Weng and several classmates from the University of Pennsylvania, following crucial discussions with renowned professors in computer vision and artificial intelligence. We specialize in providing a comprehensive solution of visual products, intelligent software, and innovative hardware. Our R&D team comprises over 30 senior engineers, including four PhDs, all from prestigious universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, NYU, California State University, and Tsinghua University. We bring together top-tier expertise in robotics, cutting-edge software development, and advanced hardware, alongside extensive manufacturing and supply chain management experience. With our global marketing and logistics team, Garden Providence Ltd. is equipped to meet international demands. Additionally, we have established the Garden Providence Perception and Optics Research Center, dedicated to the development and commercialization of full-stack visual optical systems and vision algorithms.

The team integrates advanced artificial intelligence and visual perception technology, including industry-leading pure visual algorithms. They also possess a multi-sensor fusion localization system, a dedicated edge computing board, and top-tier algorithms, enabling high-precision mapping and localization.

The GRASP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, established in 1979, is a leading robotics incubator that fosters collaboration among students, researchers, and faculty. The lab focuses on foundational research in vision, perception, control systems, automation, and machine learning. GRASP's mission is to create and integrate knowledge through academic research, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The lab comprises 16 faculty members, over 90 PhD students, 130+ master’s students, and numerous researchers, making it a multidisciplinary hub dedicated to robotics and intelligent systems, currently ranked first globally in robotics research.
